1. Your project in two lines:

The project will consist of the creation of a place of life, entertainment and meeting offering artistic cultural & activities in collaboration with different actors from the Sévelin district. It is a question of transforming a place located within an emblematic district of the city of Lausanne and dedicating it to the promotion of local artists and creators in order to offer a new point of central and friendly gathering to the Lausanne population.

2. The objective of your project (explain its why and how it will benefit one or more neighborhood(s))

The Association aims to generate socio-cultural activities as well as to create and animate ephemeral places of encounter and entertainment. In particular, it aims to promote the visibility and collaboration of artists/creators from the regional agglomeration and to highlight their projects by offering an attractive exhibition space and sharing space in the heart of the city of Lausanne. This project aims to transform an untapped space in the district of Sévelin, an emblematic part of the city of Lausanne in order to energize it. His raw and industrial atmosphere as well as his impalpable cultural life have always fascinated us. Despite this, he is perceived by many Lausanne natives as the naughty duckling and remains extremely underexploited. This new lively space will therefore bring him the visibility he deserves and will finally offer the Lausannoise population a new original and friendly place or go.

3. Your project in detail

• The project aims to animate a plot currently untapped located in the heart of the city of Lausanne but booming (Sévelin-Malley district) with the help of various associations and actors working in the region, on the one hand in order to put some regional artists and creators forward and on the other hand to put all this world in contact in order to create synergies and coherent collaborations. We aim to set up a new warm place of life where the Lausanne population will be able to gather in particular thanks to a tensity event palette and varied socio-cultural activities. To do this, this raw space once exploited for the purpose of recovering industrial materials will be divided into several parts dedicated to its animation. • A fresh and local catering offer in the heart of the plot will satisfy hungers & thirst • An outdoor terrace and partly covered will be arranged to be able to relax and enjoy the activities offered while in restaurant • A multipurpose room located at the back of the plot will be set up to host concerts & performances as well as exhibit artists from the local scene • Visitors will also be able to renew their wardrobe thanks to a space dedicated to my highlighting collections of local designer clothes or enjoy an attractive second-hand clothing offer carefully selected by us. • Joint workshops or artists & creators will be able to come together to collaborate and set up innovative projects. • All the space will be vegetated with the help of community vegetable plants & in order to contrast with this industrial plot and revive it. The implementation of this project will be done in an iterative way and will therefore be constantly evolving. The spaces will be optimized with the time & resources that we will receive and a summer & winter event offer will be gradually expanded to guarantee a consequent animation of the place and to boost the community life in the district of Sévelin.
